Sit down with a blank piece of paper and know exactly where to start.
Enjoy a delightful experience of watery textures blending together.
And hold up a one-of-a-kind piece that makes you think “Wait... I actually painted that?”
"What if mine doesn't turn out like that?"
This is the question I've heard so many times... Because we often believe that art is something you're born with.
But look at how watercolor actually works.
Pigment flows across wet paper the exact same way regardless of who holds the brush.
And beautiful watercolor art isn't created by "artistic intuition" but rather by a pattern of physical light-to-dark washes.
So, if the physics of water and paint work identically for everyone... why couldn't you get the exact same stunning blend the moment you follow the a simple visual pattern?
Which is exactly what I'm going to do, I’ll be there to walk you through the entire experience one step at a time.

The only thing left for you is to play with the colors and let your shark develop his own slightly ridiculous personality.
And because the finished style is loose, your painting does not depend on perfectly smooth lines or flawless brush control.
Where Most Get Stuck
Many people see a beautiful watercolor painting somewhere and instantly fall in love. "I just have to try this out!" you think...
Maybe you end up splurging a bit more than you wanted on the materials. But it'll be worth it...
You watch a couple of YouTube videos and realize there are zillions of completely different styles out there.
Then the thought develops...
"Why does this feel like homework. I'm not trying to become an artist."
So for this workshop, we're not going to sit for 3 hours with color theory. This is the opposite because the shark gets better the messier you paint him.
A Quick Hi Before We Start
Hi, I’m Milica.
I’ve been creating art since I was a kid, and for the last 8 years I've had the privilege of doing what I'm most passionate about for a profession.
But I still remember looking at a painting I loved and thinking, “How on earth do people just… make that?”
What years of painting and teaching have shown me is that beginners usually don’t need more talent. They need someone to make the process feel obvious.
Once you can see what to do first, what comes next, and what actually matters, painting gets a whole lot more fun. And for the first time ever, I'm making it accessible online with...

I’ve never painted with watercolour before. Is this really for me?
Absolutely. The whole project was created around a complete beginner.
I show you how wet your brush should be, where the color goes, when to add more and when to simply leave it alone. You follow the project from blank page to finished shark one step at a time.
What if I can’t draw?
You don’t need to.
You’ll receive the same printable shark outline used in the class.
Transfer the shape onto your paper and spend your time learning the fun part: painting it.
Is using an outline cheating?
No.
You’re here to learn and enjoy watercolor.
The outline simply removes the drawing hurdle so you can focus on color, texture and the painting process itself.
Once you start adding your own blends, splashes and little details, the finished piece quickly becomes your own.
What if I make a mistake halfway through?
Keep going. Watercolor can look strange halfway through a painting. The included Magic Eraser Guide also shows you how to deal with excess water, unwanted dark areas, hard edges, muddy color and small smudges.
A weird little patch rarely means the entire painting is ruined.
When will I receive access?
You’ll receive course access after your purchase with an email confirmation from the payment processor and also one from me that contains your membership setup instructions.
Do I need expensive art supplies?
I always encourage students to start out with the basics and then purchase better supplies as they paint more. For this class the supplies will cost around $20 depending on where you buy, all discussed in the workshop.
How long does the class take?
Most complete their first painting in 2 hours but this workshop gives your the flexibility to move at your own pace.
Do I have to paint the blue shark?
Not at all. The first part of the course I'll show you what supplies to get and a few tips and tricks for this painting. From there you could either go with the classic shark or have fun with colors right away.
Will I learn anything I can use on other paintings?
Yes! I'd encourage you to start exploring with the shapes and color techniques on just about anything. Remember, this style is specifically made for odd shapes that make the painting look intentional.
What happens if I change my mind?
Just like art shouldn't be forced, I don't want you to feel that you are forced into something you don't absolutely love. If in that case you don't love the experience, I'll send you a full refund within 24 hours.
You've Made It All The Way Down Here...
Which means there’s a decent chance you’ve already decided which shark you want to paint first. Maybe you love the classic blue. Maybe you’ve seen the rainbow one and all reasonable restraint has disappeared.
Either way...
You don’t need to become an artist before you’re allowed to enjoy painting. You just need a blank piece of paper, a few colors and a simple process to follow.
